Coretta Lawyer is a lifelong entrepreneur, compassionate caregiver, and devoted woman of faith from Ridgeland, South Carolina. She is married to her husband, Bruce Lawyer, and is the proud mother of two children, Lashay and Brandon. Coretta also treasures her role as a “proud grandmommy” to her beautiful granddaughter Zhuri, with hopes and prayers for more blessings to come. With a heart for service and connection, Coretta is the owner of Hands of Care, a home healthcare business located in Ridgeland, South Carolina, which has been serving the community for over five years. Prior to entering the healthcare field, she successfully operated B & C Tours, a transportation and charter service, for 25 years. When the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the transportation industry, Coretta trusted God’s redirection and stepped boldly into healthcare – what she considers not just a business, but a ministry.

Known for her warm spirit, talkative nature, and willingness to help anyone in need, Coretta has always been drawn to people. Whether through business, ministry, or everyday conversations, she believes God has divinely positioned her to encourage, uplift, and connect with others. A cancer survivor and powerful testimony bearer, Coretta’s life reflects unwavering faith, perseverance, and obedience to God’s calling. Through her story, she hopes to inspire others to trust God beyond fear, beyond reports, and beyond diagnoses.
